I still don't see how the Lions are considered worse than last year in the view of the national media, with most outlets giving the Lions 4-6 wins this season. I just don't see it. But then again I have seen numerous Rodgersluts saying GB will be 13-3 (which I doubt) and they could easily have 4 losses in their first 5 games (much like the Lions).

The Packers don't scare me this year, but they're one of those teams that just seem like pretty much every year they at least stay competitive, no matter how bad it looks (much like the Steelers or Ravens). The past 2 years were pretty uncharacteristic for them as they had made the playoffs 8 consecutive years prior to that. And oh by the way Aaron Rodgers wasn't fully healthy the past 2 seasons. GB could be due for a surge if Rodgers stays healthy.

The entire NFC could be pretty tight. I think you have New Orleans and the Rams that are the top tier, and after that it's pretty open. I'm not sold on the Eagles or Dallas so the conference could be up for grabs.

I don't think Rodgers will ever be fully healthy again. There is only one QB that seems to be able to resist father time and it ain't Rodgers.
I could be really off on this one and everyone else is right. But I don't think we are gonna see one team in the North run away with it. All teams have something about them I like and something about them that could really hold them back.
I find it comical one guy can say the team will start 0-11 for the season , another says we will win the division.
I'm going out on a limb and say the Lions will be somewhere in between.
I think they may have the talent to take the north, but I dont think k they have the depth especially on offense at WR and OL. If we have learned one thing from preseason is there is a HUGE drop off of talent after the starters compared to other teams.

Just like one guy saying the Lions had the worst draft in the NFL and another saying they had one of the 3 best.
For what it's worth though, that 0-11 thing was kind of deceiving. It was some simulator that ran a bunch of times and in one of the simulations the Lions started 0-11. I'm sure there were outliers like that for all or most of the teams.
I’ll say it again, no one has OL depth. There’s a shortage of starting quality OL in the league right now. Expecting good depth is unrealistic.
How about some depth. Other teams 2s kicked the shit out of ours all preseason. If preseason was worth anything, this is what we learned about this team and the drop off is significant.

Not sure how much you can glean from preseason even for that with no scheming or anything. I do agree our O-line depth might be suspect but I think there is some upside in guys like Crosby, Aboushi and Benerschnitzel or whatever the fukk that guy's name is. I'm more concerned about the starters than the depth to be honest.

There were guys playing out of position. Fales held the ball for 10 seconds. Crosby playing with concussion. There was so much going on in preseason it’s hard to make a judgement. You’ve been shitting on Wiggins since last year, he was one of the best OL on the roster in preseason, does that hold as much as weight as guys playing poorly?
I don’t think they have any real quality OL depth, but I don’t think anyone really does so I’m not sure how much different their situation is than anyone else.
NFC North could have 4 best defense in NFC. Packers shut down the Bears. The Bears QB is horrible. Their D is solid. Can’t sit back and wait for plays to develope. Need to hit quick passs and run outside. We have the right offense to counter the Bears D. Going to be a dog fight. But I still think wecsweep the North. We will see.

It could be that all NFCN team's might be solid defense with questionable offenses.
I can't make too much out of one game on how well the QBs will play for the rest of the season. Turdbiscuit looked underwhelming at the beginning of last year, the defense won a lot of their close games last year.
