Glasgow and Ragnow are playing like top 5 guys at their positions and Dahl has been good. No need to mess around with Wiggins, especially with Glasgow.

They seem to bring in Wiggins in passing situations. I didn't think Glasgow was that bad of a pass blocker but run blocking has been his strength.

They’re rotating on drives, don’t think it’s situation specific. They’ve said it’s about keeping guys fresh.
Glasgow has been great and it’s not like Wiggins is giving you something extra in pass pro.
This guy isn't coming in cold off the bench to start, he has had good play time all season.
I think they could help a young player, but continuity helps an OL more than anything and then rotating in and out I don’t think has helped anyone.
Wiggins is 31, he is who he is regardless of the 2-3 drives game he’s gotten during the season.
If this was some magic solution to help depth, Lions wouldn’t be only team doing it.
There is a lot of dumb shit the Lions have done this season. This isn't one of them. Wiggins is in better position to be successful due to the playing time he has had and there is nothing that can be said that can dispute this fact.

So you think rotating a lesser player in the place of 2 better lineman during the game throughout the season is a good idea because he’s had extra reps? So weakening the OL overall over the course of the season is a good idea in case that guy has to fill in in a pinch? This logic seems faulty to me.
Also, I’d argue Wiggins has gotten worse as the season has gone along, so not sure how those reps are helping.

Your backup OC is Glasgow, so you need another OG that can step in and play. Also taking reps off of guys is always good. Glasgow and the back thing, he has popped up on the injury radar so this also may have had something to do with it.
I understand Wiggins is not as good, but I do also see the logic behind it.

The OL struggles to block well as a unit consistently. Rotating 3 guys in and out, doesn’t help that. There’s a reason why teams don’t do it, continuity is important.
If the benefit is that Wiggins is slightly better(I don’t think he is) because he’s had reps during the season in the rotation, is that reason enough to weaken your OL as a unit over the first 10 games?
Why aren’t the rotating Crosby at Tackle then?
It just doesn’t make sense to me.

The only thing that makes sense to me is if they think Wiggins is that much better at pass protection, which is debatable. But even then from what I can tell it doesn't seem they are rotating him in on obvious passing situations.

No, it’s full drives.
Be curious to see what percentage of plays he's in are passing plays.

Wiggins to IR. That’s one way to stop the rotation. Although I don’t think there is anything left for a rotation. At this point it’s just comical. It seems like they’re just putting guys on IR for fun.
