Well, the holding call on our RT late in the game was total BS. but if it was close the refs were gonna screwcua so that was their chance. On 4th and 2 at bears 5 I would have gone for it instead if the BS FG. pin them deep if we don’t get it. I was a firm supporter of Patricia until today. He has no balls to go fir it and he refuses to challenge calls. He relies too much on probability. Fuck it. Show some balls. We are officially out of playoff contention. Finish out the season and Fire Quinn, Patricia and staff. Trade Stafford to a team he might be able to win a SB with.
Do you guys want him to finish out the year to see what he has? Want him QB2 moving forward?
I think they traded for him late in preseason, not sure he played. I don’t remember at least.
He played against the Lions in week 4 of the preseason and then they traded for him the next day.
I think both Driskel and Blough have looked equally decent. I wouldn't mind seeing more of both of them. I think I prefer Driskel for his athleticism and play action but Blough showed some pocket poise.

Blough’s poise was probably the most impressive thing. He didn’t look like a UDFA rookie in his first start at all.
With the way the season has played out, perfect situation to use both guys and evaluate them. Also possibly showcase them and maybe get some value back from one of them.
A few things, first may the tryptophan Gods bless you all. These are some hardcore lions fans on this board, a diminishing tribe, leaving this team like people have been leaving the city of Detroit in droves for DECADES. We won't go into Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick's debauchery in the mayoral house and his penchant for stripper, coke and booze, aside from embezzling, but yes this was The Motor City mayor who is still in prison. The fans also need some freedom. Is it me or does EVERY game this year play out the SAME DAMN WAY! Start strong, then peter out and lose in the end? It's like scripted and those refs on the last drive, God bless ya, but we get it already.
The one TD early by shit town hit the ground, OBVIOUS CALL. It was worse than any DETROIT CATCH that merely grazed the turf for a millisecond, but it hit the turf. No review, no nothing. I couldn't believe it. ALSO what happened after that turnover. I turned my back and someone said Chicago got the ball back after the fumble. No one seemed to know why. Did they say it was an incomplete pass, ? ha
This board has been therapy for many over the years. And it's no difference here. How can one team be so bad for so long, yet show so much promise? Scholars will be studying the ancient data for centuries to come baffled by the laws of futility.
Ok enough of the ref bulshit. Driskell and Blough show potential. I like it. I like Driskell scrambling ability and Blough's accuracy, but now it's time to play for a high draft pick.

JUST DON'T TAKE ANOTHER FUCKING TE!
HAppy Turkey Day MOFOS ha
the fumble that turned into an incomplete pass was the right call, the Bear TD in my opinion should have been overturned because he used the turf to secure the ball
Blough moved like an experienced NFL QB in the pocket that was collapsing around him over and over. He bought time that Stafford will never be able to buy. He had touch on his passes, very catchable balls. He hit players in stride. His job to lose right now and Stafford needs to go on IR.

Yeah, the main issue I saw with Blough is he appears to have a noodle arm.

Thought his arm was fine. He has some accuracy issues, missed a few spots. You saw it on the one to Amendola late, just kept it too flat instead of putting some air under it.

Interesting how the Steelers don't seem to have trouble winning with their 3rd string QB. And they have been without Conner & Smith-Schuster the last few weeks as well. Not to mention losing their star RB and WR in the last year.

Having one of the top D’s in the league will do that for you.

Yeah, it will. Imagine that.
