I'm 100% against getting anymore FA WR's. I was for signing Amendola because it was more like an extension as he had already been here and we know what we can expect. We need players from the draft who can be next man up next year, and possibly contribute this year. Jones could get extended next year, at that point it's about the money and his age, but I expect at least 2 holes to fill in 2021 unless Amendola wants to keep playing. There should be a plan in place now, with the talent available in this draft, to make sure we are covered.
the FA WRs the Lions have signed ( Bolden, Tate, Jones) have been mostly pretty good but other than Golladay and CJ most of those they drafted have not panned out

Yeah it's not just WR. The Lions' track record for drafting skill position players has been abysmal for 20 years. Golladay might be the only real hit. Calvin was a no-brainer, but his salary was more of a detriment anyway. It's mind-boggling that they haven't drafted a legitimate RB since Barry retired. It doesn't seem to matter who the GM is. I challenge anyone to name a team that has a worse track record in the last 20 years drafting skill positions.

Patriots? Joking, but only kind of. They suck at it.
Peoples-Jones isn't rated very high but he probably won the vertical with a 44.5" effort. Hill was 32.5" for those following him. I like Claypool but he's going to go higher with a 4.42 forty.
