About what I expected. Still some veteran LBs available so it wouldn't surprise me if they bring one of them in. Like Chark but still don't really understand pushing back some of the money. I'll assume they know what they're doing there. Retaining Walker might have been the biggest move.

My gut says they were looking to get a fairly big money guy(Marcus Williams?)and kicked some of the money into the future when cap is supposed to take big jump in next year or 2.
I do worry they fell in love with the roster last season after the run at the end and believe some of the guys coming back from injury will be big pluses. Which may be true, but the team really needs some more talent still.
But everything has been pretty low risk and there’s still some talent out there. Not a lot of deals I’ve seen from around the league that I really wished they’d done, either.
I dont know if they necessarily fell in love with the roster as much as I think they are committed to building through the draft and being financially responsible in FA until they are contenders. I think ee will still see a mid level add or two that they are looking at potential rather than finished product, like Chark...
I like the are not over spending on one of two guys in FA and getting good value guys. They are desperate at WR so I can see why they spend more there.

I only say that because of signing guys like Blough, Anzalone, Raymond, so quickly. Really they signed almost all of their FA’s. I don’t really have a big issue with any of them, but some of those guys likely were gonna be on the market for a while and you could have gone back to them later. And it’s possible you could have upgraded those spots with same kind of money with outside guys.
Could be a bit of devil you know…
The other thing that sticks out in my mind is Holmes calling this the “player acquisition phase”. While I think a big part of that is the draft, I do think he was talking about FA, too. Which makes me think there was likely 1 or 2 guys they were in on and lost out. So now they’re moving on the next tier.
