I notice you don't even mention Swift. I know you're not a fan but the bottom line is he changes the offense more than any other player on the roster. But it's unfortunate he doesn't seem built for the NFL.

That sequence after Saivion Smith's injury where like 4 or 5 guys on defense went down for at least some period of time was really strange. Felt like it all happened in 2 drives.

Has everyone seen the NFL injury report for this week? And it's only Friday. Lions don't have it any worse than most other teams on the injury front. Difference is when you have limited talent and especially limited depth, injuries are more impactful. Poor coaching doesn't help either.

So there's a lot of other teams down to three practice squad players and zero reserves at d-back?
Interesting.

Just look at this week's NFL injury report. Pretty brutal. Particularly the Steelers, Saints, Colts, Rams, Broncos, 49ers. The 49ers have 6 of their 11 defensive starters out. And this is without mentioning the Pats, Dolphins and Panthers who are starting not their backup QB, but the backup to the backup. The Rams O-line is decimated. I think at one point they were on a 4th string center.
