I don’t think Ben Johnson called his best game. Easiest way to beat a team with great DB’s is short passes, inside slants, bunch formations etc. Winning ugly is still a win, nice job Lions
Next year all defence on draft day DT, CB, LB and Safety

That was rough.
The holding on Brown on the Williams TD was shit. That’s not holding.
Not Goff’s best day, held the ball too long. Late on the dump off way too often. Missed the TD to Jamo. He has to be quicker diagnosing in the pocket.
D did what needed to be done. Some misses, but they found a way game. The early stop to allow the short field punt was huge. That why you go for it in those situations
Regarding those holds...seemed they called it both ways and were basically telling both teams they werent going to be allowed that outside run, lol.
Think the Jets were trying to bait them into quick slants across the middle...kept seeing late dropping right into those areas....feel lions stayed away to be safe
win out and have seattle and NY lose one or two and we are in
Not sure who to root for tonight. Neither has a great schedule but Giants might have a slightly tougher schedule so you probably want to root for them.

First holding on Brown was horrible. Second was legit, hands outside the frame.

MC/DC is taking some heat for in-game decisions and I'm not even sure what for. The only decision I question was the long FG attempt instead of punting.

Tough Commanders have Niners, Browns and Cowboys,,but are Eagles going to have anything to play for in week 18?

Fantastic win! Defense played well enough, and offense showed up when the game was on the line.
Up until the game winning 4th down play, I thought the offensive play calling lacked the creativity of the past six gamed. No jet sweeps, no misdirection, etc. Defensively, really frustrating that our DB's can't figure out how to track balls that are in the air for longer than most punts. As well as Goff has played lately, he was clearly rattled by the pressure today. I was concerned about his ability to throw deep enough to take advantage of Jamo's speed, which he continues to struggle with, underthrowing on a sure TD. Even last week's TD, Jamo had to slow down & wait for the throw. Not sure if Jamaal got dinged? He barely played in the 2nd half, and Swift continues to be maddening to watch. D-line played a fantastic game. Good pressure & run stopping (with help from Anzalone, who has really stepped up). O-line continues to provide amazing protection for Goff Raymond had a great game, and his punt return TD against his former team was priceless.
What I like about this team...no obvious divas. Everyone is playing to help the team. We don't see blow ups on the sidelines, we haven't heard of backs or receivers saying they need the ball more. Refreshing really.
