What is wrong with Badgley? The guy was 24/28 on FG and 33/33 on extra points. He virtually had the same stats as Justin Tucker, widely considered the best kicker in the league.
The only knock on him is he must not be good at kickoffs as he is rarely used in that area. They did bring in XFL standout kicker John Parker Romo (no relation to Tony) as an UDFA.

Badgley is kind of limited from long distance. He was 2-3 from 50+ last year, but I think a small part of the aggressiveness on 4th is they don’t feel comfortable with him from long distance. 3 attempts is really low. He’s only 5-13 for his career from 50+. Tucker had 14 attempts just last season.
Could do worse than Badgley for sure, but upgrade wouldn’t be terrible either.
