Might just be a matter of having to click the 'Insert Embed' icon all the way to right (it has a forward slash surrounded by brackets for an icon like this: </>. Click that button, select the Twitter icon and then paste in the link.

Depends...I just copy and paste the link from Twitter into the BBCode tab at the bottom and that works for me. But I do that mostly from a PC. Not sure about a mobile device.

Yeah BBCode would work but badnews probably isn't using that. Easiest way is to just use the Insert Embed feature.
