Being so quick to let him go like that was really a really dumb move.
But all the other moves they made for the CB position were pretty solid.
But having him along with all the other signees and draft picks would have been "We're going to the Superbowl." Really wish they wouldn't have jumped the gun like that. He would have been exceptional depth at the very least.

Meh, Sutton was a fringe guy and might not have even made the team. If he was a better player I'm guessing they wouldn't have been so quick to dump him.

He was on the run from the cops with an active warrant. Not a lot of guys on the roster surviving that.
I never thought he was a great fit schematically. More an off/zone guy, but he played well early and there was a lot of talk about high character and him being a positive influence in locker room, so I definitely warmed up to it. Then they went more press man heavy, he started to struggle and apparently he went off the deep end off the field. Kind of weird all around.
