It's brutal. One of the best Lions victories in my lifetime and I can't even enjoy it. This is a Super Bowl team with Hutchinson. Without him? I don't think so.
i agree...which is why I'm saying trade for a DE...im not a big knee jersey reaction person...but this is hutch...literally, Crosby may be the only replacement in the league, from an energy pov
Crosby is probably the only guy that could replace him that might be available. But probably need to give up a 2nd round pick.
I'd give a first. They just paid DMo, Goff and St. Brown big money. Not sure what's left, but if they can keep guys like Alim McNeil, Branch, Malcom, etc and still get Maxx I say do it. I can't even imagine a Defense with Hutch and Crosby next year on the ends. If they can't resign guys because of this than that's a big NO, but Brad is a genius at this stuff, maybe he can work something out, restructure and what not, but the notion of Maxx right now is heavy and would be sick as F

Crosby is never going to be traded and if it took multiple 1sts to get him, I am not sure the Raiders would even entertain it. Nor should the Lions give up everything for him.
It will be interesting to see how they fair against the Vikings this week. I have stated (not sure if it was here or Twitter or someplace) that I think this game will define what they do going into trade deadline. If the defense looks like garbage because of a lack of pass rush, then we will see something. If they look fine and win the game, then status quo. Just some minor signings mostly.
