those are both close to lions avg points and lions opponents avg points.

last week in rainy, cold, GB Montgomery carried the load. this week its inside in Houston. Gonna be Gibbs turn to shine again. Add in a couple big plays to Jamo and the offense will be hot as hell.

The D has been playing tough and the rookie stepping in at LB has really helped. Branch and Joseph are the top saftey duo in the NFL and i see no reason that that doesnt continue Sunday.

win sunday we go to 8-1 with 2 very winnable games coming up against Jacksonville and Indy. Then its Chicago, GB, Buffalo, Chicago again, SF and finally Minnesota to close it out.  so we need to win these next 3 games.

Eh, I don't know. Will Anderson out is pretty big. I don't know if any defense really scares me at this point. A few weeks ago I would have said the Flores Vikings.

Looks like Nico Collins has a chance to play. That dude is a beast.

I'd say their D is similar to Titans...remember the lions were having trouble on O in that game and scored on very short fields for the most part...thing is, I don't think houston makes those mistakes with just as good as a D....

I haven't made many predictions this year but I think the only games I would have predicted a loss were @min and @gb. I like this team.

I think the Texans defense is overrated as a result of their schedule. They've played a lot of weak passing offenses, including New England, Indianapolis twice, Chicago (week 2), Jax and the Jets. They are middle of the road in rush defense.

Missing Decker will hurt, but it happens to align with Houston missing their best pass rusher. I'm more concerned about their offense with Collins back, and mobile QB's can be challenging. I expect a competitive game and likely a shootout.

I don't expect to go 16-1, so if we are going to lose, I'd rather it be against an AFC team. However, this team continues to exceed all my expectations week in and week out. That I'm not nervous at all about this game means this is the week we'll probably lay an egg. It's bound to happen sooner or later. I just h9pe we come out of it healthy.

excellent point. minny was undefeated and had a few weak teams to pad their record and we beat them. i don think todays game will be cloe. i think Collins, if he plays, wont have much impact, too soon. i think with jamo we really open it up today early.

We've been stopping ourselves.  Jamo was open.  Goff is struggling.
