T.J. Hockenson: best all Round TE in many years. Yes 8 was high, but it was draft him or lose him. Can’t fault the pick. He’s a fantastic blocker and good hands and he will become a trusty target for Stafford.
Jahlani Tavai: surprise pick in 2nd round. But he checks all the boxes in what they look for at LB for their specific style defense. And he’s of Manoan bloodline. Great Athletes. Word is NE was going to grab him.
Will Harris: solid pick. Hard hitter, good size. Good pick. Tavon Wilson’s days are numbered.
Austin Bryant: part of a crazy talented DL out of Clemson. Solid addition at DE. Amani Oruwariye: has the size at CB but I’ve never cared much for big 10 defensive backs. More likely to me to be the worst pick for the Lions this draft. Hope I’m wrong.
Travis Fulgham: good size, hands, and speed. Should easily make it as part of WR group. Ty Johnson: hard runner. Great pick. Zenner could be in trouble.
Isaac Nauta: I was surprised he dropped to 7th round. Decent all around TE. Our depth at TE was horrible. Looking much better.
PJ Johnson: my favorite pick of the draft for the Lions. Gets in the backfield often and you go down when he grabs you. Surprisingly athletic for 334 pounds. Will be fun to watch.
