Pattern shows lions go too conservative after grtt8ng a lead. That’s on Patricia. He needs to let the offense open it up all game long. Patricia will learn. Headed in the right direction. GN, and don’t fret. Lions will be in tjevSB, no matter how much the NFL tries to stop it.
I know everyone is pissed about the two BS hands to the face on flowers that wasnt, especially the final drive. However, you can't expect to win with 1 TD and 5 fucking FGs against GB. With a 3-0 turnover ratio, this game should have been an easy Lions win, but again mistake after mistake. This team is not there yet, better but not quite.
GB kicked FG’s, too. Why did they win? Oh because they kept getting extra opportunities

I mean you can also complain about the no call on Jones for PI, the call on Walker when he’s going for the ball, and how was that “indisputable” on Kerryon.
Lions may need to have had made more plays, but Packers were given extra plays by refs. Against a good team on the road, hard to win when that happens
No doubt, I agree fully on the shit that was called and wasnt, but again 5 fgs...
They were contain rushing all game. Honestly they’ve done it all season. They’re not interested in pass rush by design, it’s about coverage.
It didnt work in the first half lol. 2nd half and when it mattered, nothing. They have been horrible all yr on pressure from Dline, why are you defending? Leading sacker is a LB and this team is the least blitzing team in the NFL, explain that.
Because for most part if had worked? Lions were 12th in league in DVOA on D going into tonight’s game. Packers had 10 points at half, so not sure how it wasn’t working

5 FG’s, which was enough to win the game if not for bad calls. You can’t play the game like you’re not gonna get blatant PI calls and phantom hands to the face calls.

I get the Lions missed some chances, but saying hey you should convert all these opportunities because there’s a chance the refs may suck really fucking bad is stupid. Green Bay is a good football team, beating them by more than a TD is really hard, the refs made it harder and this is the end result.

3 including the game winner, and Det had great field position on all of the turnovers. My point is 1 TD out of the 5, game is over, no worry about refs etc. I am as pissed as everyone else, but can also see why they lost (what they can control), some of the playcalling was suspect in the redzone. Good teams put those games away, not bitch and moan on what should have been.

That's pretty much it. Hockebron catches that pass in the endzone or no 12 man on the field penalty and we're not even talking about the controversial calls. This team just can't get over the hump. It's unbelievable. Plenty of opportunity to put the game away and they couldn't do it. Stafford played great in the first half and shit the bed in the second half but no one wants to talk about that. He always gets a free pass. It's the ref's fault.

Such cliche bullshit. Good teams put them away. What did GB do to put it away? They got calls to go their way. GB was in position to score a TD because of a bad call. They were able to kick that game winning FG with no time left, because of a bad call. They got the ball back with time left, because of a bad no call on Jones. Never mind the Walker penalty.
If you think GB is a good football team, those calls add up. When season is over find me how many double digit losses GB has and then tell me why Lions should be doing something other teams aren’t, just to overcome poor reffing.

Or they call PI since hands to the face on Hockeson play in end zone.
It’s amazing how predictable you are. Score on every possession so that terrible reffing doesn’t have an effect on the game.

Exactly!! If Hock came down with the ball tucked(no elbow) or above his head like most who catch with hands do, that might be ball game, he will learn. Why stop going deep after the 1st Q? Why hunker down and play nancy football on O? Team loss, coaches being bitches once they got the lead.

Think it’s possible GB’s D may have made adjustments? Also they went deep late...Jones get interfered with. Refs swallowed their whistles

GB scored a TD instead of FG because an uncoached team had 12 men on the field. GB won because they allowed Rodgers to scramble 12 yrs on 3rd and 8, GB won because they had practice squad WRs make crucial catches/tds, GB won because we had no pass rush, GB wonn because the Lions let them stick around after forcing 3 turnovers. Shall I continue?

It was 22-13 when GB scored a TD(he didn’t actually score by the way on the play)instead of a FG because of a bogus call. That’s a 4 point swing. GB got the ball back for final drive instead of it being in FG range for Lions because refs decided a DB blocking Jones arms before the ball was there want PI. Never mind Lions not even getting an opportunity to win game after another bad call gave Packers chip shot FG because of bogus call.
I know you think you’re being super cool football guy by saying make plays and play through it. That’s bullshit, those calls had a drastic impact on a 1 point game. You can’t “play through” things you don’t know will happen.
Also go watch the Stefan Diggs TD from Sunday, similar to Hock’s. Called a TD. What is a catch has been so muddled, no one knows anymore.
Not even close. Golladay's was closer to Diggs'.
False. Hockenson tucked ball in and lost as elbow hit, similar to Diggs. Golloday ball was moving before he went to the ground. I actually agreed with that, my issue with that one was the blatant PI on Kenny.

I'm really not, I am a hardcore Lions fan and have been since 1990. Lions were the better team tonight and should have won(just like in AZ and against KC). Yes the refs probably cost the Lions the game, without doubt. But why does it seem like this team is always in this position? Is it a conspiracy, no one team can have this much bad luck. I am just trying to see what they could/should have done to win this game. I have been burnt too many times expecting things out of this team for almost 30 yrs, so I apologize for being a pessimist, it is what they molded me into.

I can deal with AZ game, I think coaches let foot off the gas. KC game had some rough calls, but overall is what it is, KC drove the field and scored.(though Jones being tackled in Hail Mary was bullshit).
This one was bad. The Hock no TD is questionable on 2 fronts, whether it was a catch and if its not DB should have had PI, he’s got his hands all over Hock’s face mask. That’s points off the board.
The 2 hands to the face are major calls. Extended drives and allowed opportunities for GB, definite 4 point swing on 1 drive. Those are 1st downs you’re handing a team, both on 3rd down stops.
The no-call on Jones was just as bad as any of the hands to the face. He got his arms interfered with well before the ball arrived. Definition of PI. That gives Lions ball 1st down in Packer territory(likely FG range)with ability to eat time off the clock as well.

It's amazing how naive you are. Believe it or not I probably respect your opinion more than anyone else on here when it comes to X & O stuff, but you wear the Honolulu Blue colored glasses. A truly good team would have put this one away and the bad calls at the end would have been irrelevant. The Lions are an okay team but not at that level. Even when the Lions were up 13-0 I knew they had no chance. When it was 13-10 at the half it was over. Stafford has no ability to put a game away when it's needed. He needs everything to fall into place perfectly which never happens.

Both teams had mistake and breaks. GB dropped a wide open TD pass. They had a turn over on the 1 yard line about to score a TD. Both teams gave up sacks. Yeah the Lions had the 12 man in the field etc.but the refs were the game changer with the calls and no calls to benefit the Packers.
Patricia needs to call them out! You have to. If the Likns want to win this division they need to bring some attention to the next match up at home with GB and get some calls out way!
