I like Driskell. Guy has potential and that first drive last week was smooth. Once he gets comfy in this offense he will be good DO NOT LET DRIKELL GO! AND FUCK KAEPERNICK

I think Stafford has been already been ruled out for Sunday. So a whole week of prep with Driskell.
This whole thing with Kaepernick is just a stunt by the league to get him to possibly shut up. I think the low-minded conservative types are still pissed at him for his kneeling (and their misdirected anger) and the league has rebounded since those chumps are obviously watching again as ratings are up.

I never thought Kaepernick was that good. He can run but so can Driskell and I like this Driskell kid. He is calm and collected. He has poise. There is something about him where I can see him be really good and I'd hate for the Lions to release him and he becomes good somewhere else. I could careless if Kaepernick did a head stand during the national anthem I could care less. Do you bro but I'm liking Driskell ....just being honest. Stick with him is all I'm saying he's only 26

That is the whole reason I don't care about Kaepernick being black-balled by the NFL is just that, I thought his skills diminished as of 3 years ago and the league had figured out how to stop him. Granted he thrived under one coordinator and tanked under another. Could just be just a coincidence, maybe not. He is older and probably has less skill. But the fact that some horrendous QBs have made multiple starts in this league only helps his case. I think some team with a need for a backup QB should sign him, get him ready and play him and if he tanks, immediately release him the next week and this whole story and narrative goes buh-bye.
Although personally to see the circus, if Stafford is still out on Thanksgiving, the Lions should sign him and start him on T-day. Probably would be the highest rated Lions T-day game in history.
That's just it. If they put him in there, it's no longer about trying to win games and build for the future. It becomes a media circus and that's the last thing we need for the Lions right now. It's time to bear down and try to win these remaining games here. Signing Kaepernick and starting him is waving the white flag on this season and it isn't over just yet, pardon the pun
