Lets see the next men up. I am particularly curious about Bo Scarborough. He kind of reminds me of LeGarrette Blount in his younger days. Blount was a tad bigger I think. Interesting debut for him. It's all about next year now. No need in playing Stafford...Injuries killed this season. Opportunity to tweak whats left and see if there are real players there or pretenders. I am all for that High Draft Pick...Joe Burrow is a real temptation if he is on the board. I know we need a pass rusher badly but I think Burrow has "it". And with Tua coming back from injury, Burrow might be the first QB off the table.....He could do like Aaron Rodgers did for a couple of years...interesting thought
in my mind this is a must win, if they cannot win this game then the coaching staff does not have what it takes
I don't know...I think given the injuries (plus the Redskins are pretty healthy right now) these teams are about even. Being in Washington could give the Skins the advantage.

if this is the right coaching staff they must be able to win with out scheming the opponent, and not rely on talent alone

Thought last season was one of the worst I could remember. This season may be worse only because you saw the glimpses early on of what could be...then it all fell apart and keeps crumbling.

I was thinking about that the other day. Last year had the boring Jim Bob offense which was hard to watch. They had basically the same record at this time last year. This year I guess showed some promise but I knew they were frauds all along. Not sure which is better. Lather...rinse...repeat...
You still think they're not the worst team in the North?

If Stafford played the last two games, I believe that they would have gotten at least another 7-10 points in each game and that would have probably equated to 2 wins.
Chicago is so bad on offense, that they needed someone like the Lions terrible defense to put up 20 points. I think the two will fight for that last spot in the division. And after T-day, they have 4 straight games against teams that are likely making the playoffs this season. Lions will squeak out 3 wins yet this season.

I think the Lions still have enough talent to beat a team that is one of the 2 worst teams in the NFL this season. They lose and this could be the game where someone or something get canned (maybe holdout after the T-day game).

Paul Pasqualoni has squarely put his head on the chopping Block. Injuries have killed the Defense this year, especially on the DLine...Lack of a pass rush just kills the entire performance of the Defense. Someone will pay for this with their job. I'm thinking Pasqualoni is the prime candidate
I was offered tickets to this game from a co-worker...having been to Landover, MD I passed. I'll go golfing and then sit in my recliner w/a $10 six pack instead of buying 2 $8 beers...plus whatever parking is these days ($30? with a half mile walk)
Lions lose this one. Haskins wins another one against a Michigan team.

I do like Driskel. He's not Stafford but with his lower cap hit you can build a better team around a guy like him and with the right scheme give yourself a better chance.

Ty Johnson is a bust. Dahl and Wiggins can't block. Ragnow is missed. Hockenson is the second worst draft pick since Ebron. He's a knucklehead. I still can't believe we drafted a TE in the first round. A lot of you called me a fool, well guess what chuckles, you are wrong. Bo Scarborough is a find, but these intermittent handoffs to y Johnson are drive killers.
Also: Ragnow is our best pick since Megatron. Also: Whatever Barber twin is broadcasting might be the worse I ever heard.
ALL THAT SAID.
Driskell is the future. If they let him go I'm done.

Scarbrough is okay but he has no vision. He's basically a bruising version of Dwayne Washington.
Hockenson might end up being okay but he is doing pretty much what you expect from a rookie TE. Lol to the people that were predicting top 5 all-time rookie numbers from him.
And yes, Barber is awful. That's why he gets the bottom seed game every week.
