1 INT in the redzone and 2 INTs with the game on the line...19 points given up...and D was worse? Not sure I agree today...
And the Redskins offense is HORRIBLE, probably the worst in the NFL. To give up what they gave up today is a disgrace. 19 points, but all of those 3rd and longs and falling apart when it really mattered in the 4th quarter...it was hard to watch. Doesn't matter how shitty the opposing QB is...this defense figures out a way to make them look good. I really hate this team.
That’s correct actually. It is. Some might say, the opposite of “not good”.
Sorry, give the QB rating all you want, but overall Stafford has not been good in the 4th quarter/OT this year. If he was, this team would likely have 5-6 wins right now.

That’s awesome logic. “Your facts are great, but I’ll just go with my emotional feelings instead”. Stafford has more TD’s in the 4th than any other quarter and second most yards.
This is when you should go back to the D who are 31st in the NFL in points allowed in the 4th quarter. That might be the real issue.

Isn't that what I said all along? And a lot of Stafford's 4th quarter stats came when it didn't matter and he fell short when it was really needed. Just look back.
I didn't mean for this to turn into a Stafford debate. There are far bigger problems with this team/organization and it starts with the ownership. But if you can win 6 games with Stafford, you can certainly win 6 games without him. Given his age and cap hit, why not move on when it makes sense? Probably doesn't next year but after 2020 it's really time to blow it up. Then again, who the fuck cares? This team is a perpetual disaster and it's really getting harder and harder to follow them, and I've been a fan for 40 years. Watching today's game all I could think about was how I was completely wasting my Sunday. After 40 years I think I'm finally reaching my breaking point. I've never been less interested in a Lions' game than today's game, and that includes the 0-16 season.

You’re moving the goalposts now and not even accurately. Is Stafford “not good” in the 4th quarter or not?
And the defense is allowing over 9 points a game in the 4th quarter this season, the Lions have lead in every game and I think most of not all of them into the 4th quarter. You don’t have to be going to MIT to realize that letting up almost 10 point a game on average in the 4th quarter is going to go badly.
The Defense and the coaching are the main problems with this team, Stafford is not. He has been one in the past, but this is not the time to fight that battle. He’s been a top 5-7 QB this season.
Now today, the defense was meh. Really they played well enough to win, doesn’t mean they were good, but Driskel and the offense were just bad today and a bigger issue to me than the D. Which is probably the first time I can say that this season.
I should add, anyone that gives any money to this team in any way should be ashamed of themselves.
I am sure you spend money on stupider shit. Don't denegrate people for doing something that they love and that is support their team regardless of lack of winning. Remember fan is short for fanatic. Let people do what they want. You look like a small man for this comment. I'll cut you some slack since you were obviously mad at the game and probably half in the bag.

Yes, fair enough (and yes I was, on both counts).
