Was thinking they’ll move on from jones after this season and he hasn’t finished a season since his first here I think. So get a youngster who still has lots of upside.

Jones played 15 and 16 games his first 2 seasons and the last 2 were just about over by the time he went down so its hard know if they just played it safe.
That said, it’s last year of Jones deal. Rams are trying to shed money, so taking on Jones last year doesn’t make much sense. Cooks is paid like a top WR and isn’t one, I don’t think he has the potential you think either, he’s been in the league for 6 years, he is what he is. This is maybe the most loaded draft for WR I’ve ever seen, I’d much rather draft and develop a WR to take over for Jones next year than pay Cooks 15-16 million with Golladay due for a new deal.
