Choose 1: Royce Freeman or 2020 5th round pick

Broncos are rumored to want to move RB Royce Freeman after signing Melvin Gordon.  The rumored asking price is a 2020 5th round pick.  Which side are you on?

I like Royce for a 5th be great to get him for less but a 5th seems pretty fair.  I don't think Denver ever gave him the opportunity to show what he is capable of

Could just sign Carlos Hyde to a cheap 1 year deal and keep the pick.

I don't know, I think I'd go with Devonta Freeman over him but don't really want either. I would maybe offer a 6th for Royce Freeman.

Yeah, Devonta or Hyde. I’d be good with either. Don’t think either have a lot left, but might be able to maximize what they do have left.

I think we talked ourselves into the fact that drafting a RB might be the best option despite our lack of faith in Quinn.

Do both, play the odds and let them battle it out.

Draft a RB, I do not want Hyde or either Freeman. There are numerous RB's in this draft that look solid. If JK Dobbins is there in the 3rd grab him.

That last 2 we have drafted don't seem to be working out all that well.

Royce Freeman is averaging 3.9 YPC and looked underwhelming in his first tow seasons.  Devonta Freeman is nearing the dreadful 30 Yrs old, a wall for most RB's and looked anemic last year after injury.  Carlos Hyde is 29, and averages 3.9 ad 3.3 YPC the past tow seasons and also looked terrible.  KJ, Bo Scarboro and draft a kid are better options.

Hyde ran for over 1000 yards and averaged 4.4 a carry last season. It was arguably one of the best seasons of his career.

Freeman didn’t look great but that was a bad OL he was running behind and he was still able to catch almost 60 passes.

If you can’t get either for a deal like they did with CJ Anderson last year, it’s worth a shot. Let them battle it out with a rookie and Ty Johnson.

Royce not seeing the field in Denver, and can be had for a 6th , a 5th is too high
