So I heard two rumors on the radio the last couple days. Both teams are wanting to move ahead of the Giants and targeting Isaiah Simmons
Atlanta gives up 1st round (#16), 2nd (#47), 3rd (#78) plus a 1st and 4th in 2021 Detroit gives up 1st round (#3) and 5th (#149)
Las Vegas gives up two firsts (#12 & #19) plus a 3rd next year Detroit gives up 1st round (#3) plus 5th next year
Couple questions:
#1. Would you take either offer? #2. Is Simmons the way to go for the Lions if they stay at #3? He seems to be the player most attached to trades/top 5. I have heard more rumors about teams trading up for him and not the abs in the last few days.
Simmons is one of those rare LB's that come around every 8 to 10 years, a Lawrence Taylor type of energy. Be nice to have him. He has way more upside than Okudofor (sp) A dominant LB against the RUN, HELLO, what was our worst part of D last year? STOPPING THE RUN, here you go. Take him.
We draft brown then an edge in 2nd rd our DL would be tough. We have decent DBs. Didn’t have good DL last year but good DB and we still sucked. Need that DL shored up.

I would need another pick in the 2nd or 3rd this year to make the trade with LV.
The Atlanta one would hurt to drop so far, but that is intriguing for the future first. I see them as a team that might finish 4th in their division and could finish with a top ten pick next year. I think about that one a long time.
