I think he’s kind of the opposite of Urlacher. A college LB(kind of)that will be more of a Safety in the NFL. He’s really neither, but I think LB might be his worst spot, especially in this system. Use him like they did at Clemson or Chargers use Derwin James.

That’s selling him jjjjuuuussssttttt a bit short.
A couple of inches taller, a few lbs heavier, a tad bit faster....I would agree it's selling Simmons a wee bit short. But still a guy like this used to be considered a "Tweener". Simmons does have some speed so he can definitely wear a safety helmet. And I did mention "almost"...I actually like Simmons after a trade down. I think he would make the defense much better on the back end...as would Okudah...
