Yeah, everyone keeps saying Dline is biggest weekness...im not so sure...i think it might be LB...
There are some players that could help (LB), maybe some more that will be cut. I think Davis is ok, but not worthy of that next level payday. Lions have money to burn. Need some insurance players, players that have some gas left in the tank..but are on the edge of 30...Need rotational player depth...Good Players

One article caught my eye when it said Davis did not fit the Lions scheme... this is a head scratcher because BQ drafted him? What we can hope is Davis steps up his game this year, and we at least get the value of improved play while he attempts to increase his value on the open market. I liked our draft this year, but also thought the LB position was largely ignored, with the exception of Okawara.
I don’t think it’s really a scheme thing though, he’s not a great fit for the scheme, but I’m not sure he succeeds in any scheme. He seems to do everything right off the field. Works hard, has a great attitude, is a team leader. On the field he’s got solid size and great speed, but he just has horrible instincts. He struggles to adjust and change direction. He’s a step slow reacting. He doesn’t play under control, leading to missed tackles and being out of position. If you ask him to go downhill and hit a RB in a straight line or blitz through a gap, he can do that really effectively. He just struggles with everything else.

Should the Lions look for a trade partner? Would you take a 5th round or later draft pick? Or just play him this year and let him walk for the potential compensatory pick?
Well reading about Davis from arm chair QBs, he is literally the worst person ever to play LB at the NFL level, he does nothing good at the position....soooooo, not sure there is any trade value there.
