Also not sure about how attractive Philly is. They have some talent, but a lot of it is aging and expensive. Add into that Wentz and the cap he’ll they’re in...that’s a tough spot.

I liked the idea of a Shanahan tree coordinator like McDaniel or Lafleur more than Saleh really, but I did like Saleh.

I do appreciate in a way that leadership didn’t just fall into public pressure and hire him even if they felt he wasn’t their top guy.

I agree...Pick the guy or gal you want because you like their style and you feel comfortable, not someone that checks some box.

Don't worry, I think a lot of the Lions faithful wanted Salah. And after reading what I said about Salah, I don't really recall why I didn't want him (football reasons). I didn't have any sound reasoning. Just how overhyped guy at the time was all it took. LOL.

But we can all say that the Lions got the best coach (and GM) from that 2021 coaching cycle easily.
