I think people are being bitches about the RG spot, I think we will just plug one of the 5 guards they have on roster and one of them will stick. My bet is on Wiggins, and I am fine with that.

Not to bright are you? When Lang was healthy enough to play last year the Lions had a top ten OL and gave up only 6 sacks while TJ Lang was on the field. Take out Lang and install Kenny Wiggins and the Vikings get 10 sacks in one game and then the Bears get six sacks the next week. All total with Wiggins playing 10 games the Lions gave up 35 sacks. Like I said we are in trouble if Wiggins is the starter.

Bingo!
Keep in mind the RT has had some very bad performances as well. I was really hoping to strengthen that right side of the line.

Same here but when you have tons of holes to fill there's only so much you can do. Hopefully they sign a serviceable veteran (which Wiggins is not) and Kenny gets shown the door for the 11th time.

Yup, sounds like a bunch of bitches to me.
I'll have to go back and look at Wiggins' starts to see if he is really bad that all of you claim he is, but it is interesting that the talk is he might be the guy to start this year.
And Geezer, that 10 sack game you referenced, you do know that Lang played until he got injured in the 4th quarter right? While TJ was great there's no doubt. The stats I looked up for Wiggins, he gave up 5 1/2 sacks in the 2018 season, not sure where you use him to equate to 35 sacks for the total team.

I don't like the looks of what is out there left in FA. And I can't fault them from not overextending themselves on a new guard considering they still have TJ's dead money on the books and if they didn't see one in FA with more of a name (like you guys want) or reaching on one in the draft.
Like I said, someone on the roster has to step up and I am fine with that.

I just watched the Vikings Lions highlights for Nov. 4 2018. You are right, Lang was out near the end of the 3rd quarter. Wiggins however was playing for Lang in the first and second quarter because he gave up a sack early in the 2nd. He also gave up a sack to Johnson in the 4th quarter. Wagner got his ass handed to him by Danielle Hunter for 3 sacks. I said the Lions OL played better with Lang than with Wiggins and did not equate anything. Lang was the Lions best pass blocking OL. Kenny Wiggins was Lions worst pass blocking OL. My point, Wagner and Glasgow always played better with Lang beside them.
P.S. I remember Glasgow yelling at Wiggins during one game last year. Don't know the reason, but Glasgow was very demonstrative. My hope Wiggins is cut for the 11th time this fall.

Can't make the club in the tub, if Lang were healthy and still wanted to play he would be playing somewhere. Acting like cutting him was stupid is stupid.

Thats what Im saying. Wagner is a hot mess. That right side is going to be in rough shape. Only think I can think to do is move Dahl to center and Glasgow or Ragnow to RG. Dahl isn't very good but he might be serviceable between two good OGs.
