Along the lines of the offseason thread, I thought we could use a draft one as well since we seem to have draft discussion scattered throughout all the threads.
Personally I think the Jags take the tackle or try to trade down. I'm leaning toward wanting Hutchinson for the Lions. I'm not a huge college viewer but been reading/watching a lot on Hutchinson and Thibodeaux and I just feel like Hutchinson's game will translate better to the NFL. I worry Thibodeaux's elite athleticism at the college level masks any weaknesses. That said, I'd probably be okay with either one and just hope it works out. Probably a coin toss either way.

I dunno. You can't teach that speed and burst off the ball. You can certainly teach more technique. KT ability to get off the ball is rare. Hutch is more polished, but he doesn't have as high as ceiling as KT. If both are there at two, I would not be surprised if the take the Duck over the Wolverine. You would be OK with eithier guy.

If Hutch is available, they will take him. It is up to the Jags. However, I have to say if the Jags do take him, Kayvon Thibodaux is an outstanding boobie prize!
They already have experience with a tiny hand QB, so it would make sense.
Seriously though, if Pickett’s hands are as small as the rumors, that’s scary.
If the rumors are true, his hands are historically small, even smaller than Goff's. But supposedly he's got some freak thumb joint that might offset it.

Yeah that’s what I read, too. I’m wondering how that one will play out because 8 and a quarter isn’t just a little under the threshold.
Cameron Thomas (Jr), Edge, SDSU, 6'5" 270 lbs. This is another Edge rusher who has a quick get off, had 10 sacks against some good competition. Excellent against the rush. Could be a nice 3rd round compensatory pick.
Zappe is interesting. Not the biggest arm but smart with the ball.
Very good reports on this kid. Smart, very good field vision, outstanding accuracy. Broke Joe Burrows NCAA record passing for almost 6,000 yards this season.

I think they have some input when picking the QB’s at Senior Bowl, so looking at the guys they picked, seems like they may have some interest on day 2.
QB’s are weird this year. Think there’s some guys that have the tools to be good QB’s, but didn’t produce like them in college. Then there are guys that may not have as much ability, but produced like good QB’s in college.

Overall kind of a weak draft class
The draft class is fine. The issue is figuring out which players are worth drafting.

I don't believe they have announced compensatory picks, but the Lions are projected to get a 3rd, 5th and 6th round compensatory picks. For a total of 10 picks this draft.
