Doesn't Kennedy do this every preseason? He's great against guys that won't make their team.
Yeah I think this is his 3rd preseason of this. He’s at best a bottom of the roster that can jump in in a pinch and catch a couple passes, but Im still not sure he makes it here with the competiton this year.
I was on the fence contemplating a decision between getting a Aiden Hutchinson or Tommy Kennedy Lions jersey, thanks Rusty for setting us all straight...

Every good team has a feel good story just waiting to be told. The guy paid his dues. Nice that they brought him back for at least a moment. It maybe just a single catch or maybe a punt return..who knows. I just hope to see it.

He's not great but not JAG either. Nice to have around. I'm surprised New Orleans didn't try to poach him given their depletion at receiver and his intel on Lions.

Considering how many JAG WRs play regularly every week in the NFL I think it's safe to say he's not even JAG level.
Really hope he can really get a chance. BTW a little OT that there was a late game show host by that name as he was known for "You Don't Say, Name That Tune, Password!"

True. Then again, I don't think there are many guys you could just pull off any practice squad, who has an established familiarity with your offense, who has practiced extensively with your QB and has already built some trust within the team and organization.
So as far as practice squad players go, he's not JAPG (i.e. "Just a practice squad guy.")
Craig Reynolds was just a JAPG. In fact, he may have been JACG ("Just a couch guy"). But he also built enough trust within the team that they actually gave him a contract. Which is pretty impressive for a JAPG/JACG. But now he's on the 53, he's a JAG. But since he's strung together at least a few 100-yard games, and has a career YPC average of over 4.3 yds, can you call him JABG ("Just a backup guy")?
