Oruwariye has earned an overall PFF grade of 27.7 through the first four weeks. That is dead last, 117th out of 117 cornerbacks who have played at least 50 snaps.
The coverage grade has been nearly as bad for No. 24 in Honolulu blue. Oruwariye is 116th, next-to-last and above only Jayln Armour-Davis of the Ravens, a part-time player who has exactly 50 snaps to Oruwariye’s 206.
No. 24 in Detroit is also tied for the league lead in missed tackles by a CB with six. That’s the same number of penalties against Oruwariye, a figure that also leads all cornerbacks.
Yeah Campbell didn’t make it sound like he was coming back for the Cowboys game when he was asked about it yesterday and he wasn’t activated to practice with Jacobs and Paschal, so hard to imagine he’ll be playing that week.

Just looking at the timeline (he tore the knee on Jan 10), I'm a little surprised we won't be seeing Williams at least in limited capacity after the bye. They probably know it's a lost season anyway and don't want to rush it. You have to wonder if Godwin came back too soon and that's why he had the hamstring issue.

At least a month away according to Campbell…
Disappointing. I knew it was a pick for the future when they made it, but I figured they’d get 6-8 games to help ease him in. Now it looks like 3-4, maybe. Don’t really care too much about this season, just think it puts even more pressure on him going into next year.

I'm curious if he had a setback or if they're just being extra cautious. I know every player is different but it seems he is well past due given guys like Gallup and Godwin have already returned. I know Godwin's injury was a few weeks earlier but he played week 1.

I’d guess cautious since he’s posted videos of him running and cutting not that long ago. Also possible they’re taking time to build up strength overall and want to make sure he’s 100%.
