I am seeing some differences of opinion regarding the Lions. Some fans are calling for the Lions to fire DC. Some media is saying this is horrendous..Same Old Lions.
Is there no hope? DC and Holmes have no hope and why continue this for 4 more years? Or is this just part of the growing pains of the rebuild?

Too early to think about firing anyone. You still have guys who are on the PUP list that haven't made the field. I'll likely wait until after Thanksgiving before making an type of rash decision. You have to allow these guys the chance to fix the situation.

The majority of people on here thought this was a 5-7 win team. I get the reaction to a couple of bad performances, but I think some of that is because of an overreaction to a couple pretty good performances. In the end I’d guess they’ll be right around what everyone expected.
I’d also guess if you asked the front office and staff to answer 100% honestly, they’d tell you they didn’t expect much more than we did.
If they continue with more of these shit games, then I think you need to take a hard look at what’s going on, but I think Felix is right. Year 3 is when there needs to be real pressure.
I think it's still a little too early to make this decision. I deeply overestimated this team by a lot. I got bored yesterday and ran some ML analytics in Python to get a clearer picture of things. Last year he ended up right about where he would be anywhere else give or take a game. He fired AL last season and took over, so he's open to making adjustments. It's not like firing him right now would send the Lions to the SB.
After this year I think Brad Holmes and Chris Spielman may need to re-evaluate whether or not MCDC is the coach for the Lions. Let's see how things go.

Same old Lions? Of course. Blow it all up again? Nah. What's the point? Then in 2 years we'll just be asking whether we should blow it up again anyway.
Let's not forget after the Commies game a lot of us were saying they might actually exceed our expectations this year, and even after the Vikings loss no one waivered on that. I know things have turned a bit since then defensively but that was only 2 fukkin games ago.
