Tyree Wilson at 6 and O’Cyrus Torrence at 18
Just think you could have Amon Ra and O’Cyruss on the same team. Both Egyptian Gods on the same team LOL
Jack Campbell with the fist second round pick then Tanner McKee with second second round pick. Don’t sleep on McKee, he’s accurate and just looks like a pro QB even though he was surrounded by crap last year. He is a younger cheaper Jarred Goff
BPA after that

when you see backup QBs playing well, is it the player or the system? If the system is in a good place, you get a guy like Brock Purdy coming in and winning some games when needed, but to except any backup QB to take over and make a playoff run is just unrealistic. These guys are backups for a reason, people put too much stock into the backup being starter quality, when in reality the team is helping an average QB look like a starter.

Most people inherently root for the underdog. Backup QB's are the classic underdog. The Starting QB has a few bad games and suddenly the grass always looks greener when people look at the backup QB. Probably not so much for Nate Sudfeld...
The more I research JAlen Carter, the more I am doubtful, but at the same time, the more I wonder. It's either a huge boom or bust proposition. At this point, I am just going to respect MCDC's judgement, but the ceiling for this cat is astronomical. We're talking AD 2.0?, but so is his bust potential. Man, what a jackass. He has the world by the ass and just fumbled big league. That said, we DO NEED DLINE HELP, so 18 looms large. Kancy, Nolan Smith (steady but no all world star), as long as they pass on QB with the 6 pick and if Bijan and Carter are the picks in the first round, that's a risk high reward situation.

I was not all that impressed with him prior to him showing up out of shape to him pro day and the off field drama.

Did you actually watch him? He was pretty dominant.
Yeah the off-field stuff is concerning, but he’s been the best DL on that team for 2 years and they had the #1 overall pick and another top 15 picks on there last season.
Holmes and MCDC are asking many of his fellow players and coaches about Jalen. They interview many players and MCDC said they talk to coaches a lot about players. They have gotten feedback or are still getting feedback and investigating this Jalen Carter situation. Know that. So should be interesting. If he's the pick at 6 or if he slips to 18 we should be confident MCDC believes the gamble could be worth it. So...on a side notes it is kind of sweet to have coaches and a GM that we can respect and have faith in. There's truly a cultural shift going on in the D...salut mofos!

Good comments Def, totally agree! Finally got someone at GM and coach who luvs football.
I actually do think that’s an issue, but wasn’t a consistent problem and it’s fixable. The other stuff he does, can’t really teach.
Like being fat and out of shape on pro day to the point of not being able to perform and the legal issue ?
To me its a huge risk
(Not directed at you specifically, Vic, just a general rant)
I'm more worried about his mental state. And I mean this as more of a concern for him personally and I hate talking about it in terms of "draft stock" because it's so crass. But imagine winning the National Championship and on the brink of being extremely wealthy. Celebrating the victory and suddenly losing two friends in a tragic accident only hours later, and being part of the whole thing, and then being a suspect. Now every single reporter, coach, scout, team shrink is questioning you about it, forcing you to question your own character, all while you're in a state of mourning.
I'm just going to say I pray for the guy, and hope this isn't too overwhelming, and that he lives long and prospers. And I don't GAF about what this does to his "draft stock."
/End of rant

At this point I just don’t know about Carter. He had tremendous talent but there are some major red flags
I’m not sure if this is a kid that “loves football” or this is a kid that thinks it’s just a game
I trust Holmes to sort it out, if he passes on him, I’m good with it
I still think Wilson is the better fit at #6 maybe even Witherspoon
this is where i leave it up to Holmes and Campbell....if they think Carter will play for them, lets go...if tbey have their doubts, i trust them to pass.....
Calijah Kancy is 6' 1 and 285. He ran a 4.6 40. This is Aaron Donald like stature. If Jalen is gone or if MCDC and the FO wants to pass on Jalen, it'd be hard to pass on KAncy. This dude will be a stud. No CB at 6, it's too deep. Tyree and Kancy in the 1st? Would also be huge. Will Anderson Jr would be a dream, but no way he falls to 6. Man, some good D Line in this draft. Too bad LB isn't as deep
I like Kancey, but to me he’s more of a guy like Dominique Easley or Mo Hurst. He just doesn’t have any length which will give him some issues if he doesn’t win with that first step and I don’t think he has the strength of other undersized 3T’s like Donald or Geno Atkins. I don’t think you can have him on the field on run downs at all unless you can get him stronger and even then the lack of length might limit him. Think he’ll be a good situational pass rusher, but even at 18 it would depend on what’s on the board for me.
