A few things stuck out to me from the perspective of seeing the game in person.
1. it was one hell of a fun game for both sides. Myself and the entire crowd tuned out as soon as it looked like our teams were out of it (mostly going inside to warm up). Then we'd get back to our seats, and just like that, we had an actual game. So my experience was the same as the Bears fans, just at different times.
2. Even though their team sucks, Bears are jazzed about Justin Fields' rushing. The guy is just a flat-out play maker. But every Lions' fan I talked to said the same thing. You gotta' be able to throw the ball if you're a QB. It's not enough to just be Michael Vick back there.
3. Speaking of playmakers. Ra-St. Brown reminds me of a young Anthony Carter or Larry Fitzgerald, the way he plays so focused and disciplined.
4. Our rushing game, for some reason "looked" a lot better than it showed on paper. You could feel the shoulder pops from the stands. They ran hard and gritty.
5. Dan Skipper looks like a bald Paul Bunyan.

I read that the Lions saw an abnormal amount of 8 man boxes Sunday. Bears basically dared them to run early and then would pin their ears back on 3rd down knowing the Lions lacked deep targets and Goff doesn’t handle pressure well. Lions played right into that for a stretch, then adjusted late and mixed it up more.

I think the problem people have with Goff is how Jekell and Hyde he is. Not many QBs look terrible and awesome in the same game. Most either look great or have a bad game. I get the frustration but as long as he has more good moments versus bad ones the better.
I think we are going to see the Lions O line dominated by the Giants this week and we will see bad Goff a lot on Sunday.
