I don't know, if I remember right, Jacobs played pretty quickly after being activated. Believe me, this kid has been working out and running his butt off. He is ready.
Jacobs played 1 total snap on defense his first two games back (though he did play some special teams). If Jamo is even active, I put his over/under snap count at 6.
Impressive, 6 on the nose. Campbell said they planned to use him as a gunner for extra work, but didn’t punt.
Fun game. I still worry games like this make people think Goff is the long-term answer.
He played really well. And I still think you saw his limitations.
At times, but even for him this was a pretty clean game. He had all day to throw most passing plays. Even with some 9th string guard named Ayahuasca this game showed what the line is capable of.

Game showed exactly what the OL is capable of . They needed to overload to get any kind of pressure on Goff.

Goff made a couple 3rd down throws on that final drive with guys right in his face. He stood in, took the hit & made strong throws each time. This is the best he's looked all season.

He had a rough patch, but I think solid is the right description. Solid is likely getting you 10-7 and first round exits though
Don't disagree, but I guess I find it interesting that Tech of all people chimes in for the first time all season to declare that Goff has been "solid" when he's basically doing what Stafford was doing at the same inflated salary but Tech doesn't seem to have an issue with it. As much as I always agreed with Tech about Stafford it just shows either he had a vendetta or he has no clue how the salary cap works (my guess is a little bit of both).

Forgot about it until I saw highlights this morning. Goff hitting that out to St. Brown for the TD was a beautiful throw that I’m not sure I’ve seen Goff complete in the 2 years he’s been here. He never seems to throw it with confidence and it’s always wide and weak. That one yesterday he whistled it right towards the pylon. Was perfect.
I have a big issue with Goffs cap hit but the Lions aren't really married to the guy. When Stafford was here, I knew the Lions would keep resigning him and giving him more and more money even though he was not a game changer type QB. Big difference!

And building through the draft, versus expensive FAs. The FAs are short term deals as well. I have to agree they have handled the money much different this time around. Stafford is shitting the bed, bit they did win it all. I'd say both the Lions and the Rams benefitted from that deal. I have not had a chance to watch the game yet but will try tonight.

That was a great throw. Although was that the one that was pretty wobbly?
