i actually like it. he likely would have been picked up on waivers before the lions could get him and its basically 6th or 7th round pick to get him. not bad. he upgrades the back end of the WR group.

I suppose. A 30+ year old Andy Dalton, Jeff Driskel, a rookie Joe Burrow that tore his ACL paving the way for Brandon Allen and Ryan Finley. But yeah, the Jets QB situation has been abysmal so you're probably not wrong.

At first I thought why not just put him on IR or PUP to start the season, but apparently they only give up the draft pick if he made the 53 man roster.
