man our rookies are freaking good. Branch is a monster, LaPorta is amazing. Gibbs gets it done.
Don't forget Campbell with his first career sack.
He looked good today. I saw him getting some reps on the weak side over Rodrigo who has played rough this season so far.
LaPorta just has a nack of getting you those 3 yards to the marker on 3rd down. I don't want to say who he reminds me of just a little bit, but seeing little glimpses of some special things.
Gibbs really stepped up and made some tough runs, good for him!
We have some good rookies. Have to give hats off to Holmes and the staff.

He's gonna be a great LB, but he's still figuring things out. There was one play (don't remember exactly when, but in the 2nd half) where he was lined up on the wrong end of the line, and Hutch ran over, grabbed him, and nearly threw him to the other end of the line. It was pretty funny.

Second watch, Branch may have been even better. Just made so many great plays.
Hutch wasn’t far behind. He was wreaking havoc. Though McNeil bounced back and had a good game. LB’s are so much better with the way Barnes is playing. Anzalone looked good, too. D really bounced back.
Wasn’t Goff’s best day, missed some throws and that was a bad INT. He does look like a different guy, though. He stood in the pocket and made some throws knowing he was gonna take a hit and bounced back after that INT, those things didn’t seem to happen in year 1 here. Also he has to be the least athletic QB in the league now the Brady is gone.
Gibbs did a good job playing a role that probably isn’t best suited for him. Hopefully Montgomery can’t get back Thursday.
Fox did a good job flipping the field a couple times early in the game.
Quality win with a lot of key missing pieces. D really stepped up. Need to get OL healthy and Montgomery back.
Really missing Decker. Sewell has been pretty bad on the left side. Not sure how much of it is just not being used to that side but if he is the future at LT the Lions might have to re-evaluate things.

He's always had trouble transitioning from one side to the other. Had trouble transitioning from LT to RT coming out of college and actually played better at LT his rookie year. It just takes him time to get used to it. It's like that for some players. He's not that versatile in that sense, but it's not like he doesn't have the skills or aptitude for it.
Branch...man oh man, can't wait to see what yhe future holds for him...love it
You could argue his one negative play (the penalty) shouldn't have even been called. I watched it several times and it didn't look like his helmet touched above Bijan's neck, and it looked like the helmet flew off from hitting the ground (and the man-bun), not from Branch's contact.

In Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks, Campbell was used a bit as an edge rusher. In Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons, he lined up for 26 of his 38 defensive snaps as an on-ball edge defender, as he finished with six total tackles and one tackle for loss. He also had his first career sack on the final play of the first half, and basically ran to the tunnel afterward.
