Hasn’t lost his love for single high man, though. 3rd and 10 with 30 seconds left and Seattle only one timeout needing a TD, had to stick to his roots.
calling it now. Rams will win the SB.stafford is lights out lately and has plenty of weapons
I'm not sure that team could even beat the Lions. That defense is not scary at all. Actually if you look at them as a team, they are kind of similar to the Lions.
Its looking very likely to be the Seahawks and Rams in the 6 and 7 slots....does it matter who the Lions play or do you prefer one over the other? Im asking because if Lions beat the Cowboys, I think they are the #2 seed, which likely means playing the hot Rams, who have a great QB against a suspect Lions pass D (assuming Rams lose to 9ers last game of season)....#3 seed, looks like we would play Seahawks...which, they seem to have Lions number the last 2 seasons, but man, would love to play thise guys for some payback

I would much rather play Seattle. But the Lions/Rams story is intriguing and I'm sure that's what the NFL wants.

I don't see them getting the 1 seed, but it would certainly be nice. Hard to say whether we want the #2 vs #3 seed without knowing the opponent. I guess #2 seed is better in the sense if SF loses prior and the Lions get home field through out.

The #2 seed is gauranteed two home games (as long as they win the first round, of course).
SF essentially has a 2 game lead based on conference record...don't really see #1 seed as realistic
I think BAL and the Rams beat them
If the Packers win their next two games and the Rams lose a game, then the Packers get the 7th seed. So I expect the Rams to go all in to try to win that game. GB has a head to head tie breaker with the Rams if they finish with the same record.

really? I just saw packers were behind vikes and atl so didn't even think about them...packers beat the seahawks as well, so they have that tie break too
Lions looking like the may be getting Cede Duece, McNeil and Houston back for the playoffs.
I'm not going to lie, I feel like a lot of the injuries this year were well managed and almost intentional in their timing. I seriously believed they managed this team to be healthy come playoffs....perhaps it was just fortuitous, but feels like there was a lot of intention.
That said, outside Mosley, this team is looking to be at 100% heading into the playoffs...does that change your perceptions of what can be accomplished?
To me, Houston is the X factor...if he can even remotely approach what he did down the stretch last season, this team could actually make a run...
The defense is basically a bunch of journeymen and some rookies aside from Hutch. I have a difficult time believing they're going to get that side of the ball straightened out this season.
This team is going as far as the offense can carry them.
Nah, this team is pissed and might just take it out on the rest of the NFC.
I hope so. Rams scare me. Stafford is Stafford and can light you up and they have talent at skill positions to be a problem. And they’re coming in hot, I know they won ugly yesterday against a bad team, but 6-1 in last seven and only loss was an OT game to Ravens. Next to SF, probably the team that worries me most in NFC.
