I really hope the Lions win this one - I don't want to have to sweat the next 2 weeks.
This is a very winnable game, but I worry this defense will make Nick Mullens look like an actual NFL QB. The Vikings run defense is solid so I think the key to this game is Goff just taking care of the ball.

Should be an interesting game, because their defense has been as good as our offense, and their offense has been as questionable as our defense. This will very likely not be one of those road games where our fans make an impact.
I think the key to this game is dealing with the Vikes blitz-heavy defensive scheme. If we can keep Goff clean, he should have plenty of opportunities to pick apart their secondary. I think there will be lots of quick passes to counter the blitzes, while also trying to keep the run game as the focus.
On defense, we really need to figure out a way to get pressure with our front 4, because having to rely on blitzing means Hockenson could have a field day. I'm hoping to see Branch locked up on Hock. Need Hutchinson to have a breakout game. He's been so close to getting sacks for weeks, would love to see a 3 sack game.
Ultimately, it seems to come down to whether our D gets a turnover. In games where our defense generates a turnover we are 10-1 (Baltimore being the one exception). We are 0-3 when they don't. *Edit: it should be noted that in those three losses, we also turned the ball over 3 times in each game. However, we have two other games with at least 3 turnovers that we won (Raiders & Bears), and in both of those games, the defense generated a single turnover.
