Just my thinking. Feel free to call it a "hot take" or whatever.
But CJ was brought in because he was a special player.
And when special players come back from injury, you give them their spot back on the roster. You don't make them "share time." You let your special player do his special things, and if he's rusty and stinks up the joint, then only then do you take him out or split time. Special players have earned the right to not have to prove themselves again. You assume he's the same person, until he proves otherwise.

Huh? Dude came back from an injury before the regular season ended when he wasn't expected to be back even for the playoffs. Why overwork him in his first game back in a meaningless game? He'll get the reps he needs. Stop reading fan sites.
Kinda my point when I asked a week or two ago who sits when CD2 comes back....it was an easy decision a month ago, but Iffy has been on fire and the D seems to really be firing with him at S...kinda hard to mess with cohesion...ill be honest, it's actually a problem and I'm concerned about chemistry with him back so late

Problem is Ceedy doesn't want to share reps. He's worked his fool head off and defied nature. And wants to be rewarded for being the guy who doesn't give up on his season. I'd give him that shot if he wants it.

Ceedee deuce giving up the 70 yd TD against the pack in the opener...not going to lie, kinda glad he's gone
Yeah, said the same thing after Niners loss. He’s a talented guy, but there’s a fine line between playing with an edge and being chirpy and making it all about you and getting lost in that. He falls into the second one too often. The shit with Deebo last year was perfect example. NFC championship and you’re too busy worrying about some personal beef with Deebo and meanwhile, blowing coverages when it matters.
