he knows our offense and the 49ers will get all they can out of him about it if we dont match it
Who cares...each year is different. I like when guys assume that when a player is signed by another team that he will spill all the beans to help that team beat another team. When in reality it rarely ever happens that way.
To me this is a desperation move by the 49ers. They have Kittle and a couple of nobodies on their roster, so they needed to do something and I don't think this is a strong TE draft coming up, but I am sure you could get a guy like Wright in draft. Still kind of surprised that a guy who only had 13 catches for 91 yards last season would even get that much. Not like he is the greatest blocking TE either.
like the idea of trading up to get Bowers. we would have the best TE pair in the league as well as best RB pair and best OL. LaPorta and Bowers would be match up nightmares when both are on the field. Williams is our speed deep threat. St Brown slot nightmare.
seeing stuff where toxic lions fans badgering him about the drops were a big reason...reasonable, but awfully thin skin for a pro if true...
And no different than any other fan base. Professional athletes should know sports fans are morons.
Yeah, if that’s true he’s gonna be in for a rude awakening. Every fan base has assholes, some more than others. I’d say Lions probably aren’t even near the top.
I like (not love) all of the offseason moves, so far. I'd love it if we had something resembling a sure thing shutdown CB, or a sure thing beast of a pass rusher. Holmes has done a good job getting value and most players turn out pretty good. I just wanted to see a big signing to sure up the biggest weakness on our defense.
