Manu is a 4th round pick, not a high prospect. Sounds like they want him to play guard and not tackle. Which is probably the easiest route to making the roster.

I keep hearing that, and it's coming from Manu himself. But really what he said was, they want me to play right side, I think he just made assumptions after that. I can't help but think it's to let decker go, move Sewell to the left and have the rt replacement ready to go in a year or two....just my thinking...

That's what I'm thinking. And how common is it to have a 6'8" 360 lb guard? How will the quarterback see past him?

They also may start working him at RG to get him comfortable on the right side and it allows him to get comfortable with the footwork and sets before kicking him out.
I can't wait to see what we have in him... this big mofo pulling, or getting him and Sewell out in space in the screen game. Fuck man...I can see all of it ...plus could eventually play RT.

I think they will have to eventually move Sewell over, but this is Decker's last year under contract. And a RT replacement seems more probable if Manu is any good. Not sure if that means curtains for Decker in 2025 or what.

I think they draft another LT to replace Decker and I think Manu stays at guard
