though some dont like the moves we made at DB what we had before tody was garbage. so its an upgrade. and we likely are not done. i still tink we trade up for a top CB o rDL/DE in the draft.
I know there's no way but Max Crosby would be a sweet sign. He has 2 years left on a big contract already. He makes like 16m a year after huge signing bonus. That aside any help at CB is warranted. Robertson is a good pass defender which is what we need.
Good riddance. Dude seemed like more trouble than he was worth.
I don’t have anything against him, pretty indifferent, but I can see why he’s kicked around. He’s a good player and brings and edge that’s needed sometimes, but he also seems like he can be a pain in the ass and create issues.

not my cup of tea, but i think his swag and how a pro prepares may have been good for the young safeties...I think he served a good purpose, but no need to keep anymore
liked Gardner-johnson but when he complained about sharing duty it was obvious he was gone. would have liked him healthy all season long to determine if he was worth it but we have a couple good youngsters back there. let them play. good bye gj.

Sounds like the definition of "more trouble than he's worth."

well, davis is better than anything we had. so make what you want of it. Arik Armstead of the 49ers is a free agent now. i would definately bring him in for a talk.

I don’t really have a big issue with what they’ve done. I actually like the Robertson signing, shown signs that he’s ascending and should just be depth. I don’t even dislike Davis, he has the ability and scheme might help, but giving up a late 3rd with what might be a guy on rhe downside with some injury history….was hoping for something with a little more security to sure up the other CB spot.
Obviously still time, but hard to think short of a rookie and back end guy, they’re done at CB.
I mean, it is hard to know..it sounds like Davis struggled in zone and TB runs a lot of zone, so there is a chance scheme works in our favor there...that said, sounds like his injury history could be a factor...sounds like he's always banged up and I'm curious to see how he attacks in run D
I'm more interested in Robertson...seems weird they let him walk so cheap and from what I've read it sounds like he makes plays but gives up big plays (sound familiar?)...but maybe that's coachable is my hope
robertsons contract is lions friendly yeare 2. if he flops theres only 1.4 mil dead money year 2. i really like Davenport. he is very good against the run andcloes fast on the QB. like all the moves so far.
Wish Holmes would do more in FA, but that is not his style and we do not have a ton of draft picks. Not too many ppl are thrilled with how FA has gone so far.

There hasn’t been a whole lot I’ve seen for deals that I thought “I wish Lions signed him to that deal”. And there’s still some impact out there.
