Think I may have done this last year.
Have seen some things that this year will be one that strays way off from what perception has been leading up to the draft. So what’s your wild predictions?
-Tua falls because of medicals and ends up with Patriots.
-1/3 of the picks in the first round end up being OT’s and WR’s.

Think the most bold thing I’ve seen is Love making it to 3rd. Definitely bold. I’d be shocked, teams love QB’s with physical tools and Love has all of them.

I have seen mocks with Love as high #23 to the Patriots and as low as the 3rd round. I prefer Jalen Hurts over Love. But MP seemed pretty chummy with Love at the Sr. Bowl.

I think he’ll end up in the 1st. His play wasn’t great last year, but I think some team will fall in love with his physical talent and justify some of that play with talent around him. Kind of like Josh Allen.
Unless Stafford's back is done for I cant see selecting a QB before Rd 3-4, if I were forced to take one of the QBs outside of Tua or Barrow I can't say that it would be Hurts he doesn't impress me as a passer maybe I would feel different if the team was trying for a different style though.
I wouldn't take a QB in any round because this is a poor draft for QB's. If we're not moving Stafford this year, there is no reason. Next year, sure, with our first pick. But taking one after the first round is a wasted pick this year. We have other needs that can be addressed where you can find help in the 3rd and 4th. WR, DT and OT, it's a deep draft for all 3 and we shouldn't have a problem finding help in those rounds.
I wouldn't rule out the OT position with the #3 pick. Curious to see how the Lions value positions. OT or DB....Me, I would go OT. And I tend to agree about the QB draft. Is this the Marino Draft or the David Carr draft. Sometimes it looks like a lot of hotshot QB's are there, but it may just be a lack of Defensive Quality in College football that made these guys look good. I think that was true in the Joey Harrington Draft Class. The Defensive teams in College football were not top notch that year....I think
1) Washington takes Tau with 2nd pick Lions get Young with 3rd pick Or 2) Lions take Brown 3rd (washington takes Young)
My gut says Lions take Brown at 3 and Lions fans will lose their mind because draft people act like he’s a NT(he’s not)and are completely set on Okudah.

Brown will be the best DL on the board if Washington picks Young. Lions still need stud on DL. Brown will dominate.
The fact everyone is saying Okudah means lions likely won’t draft him. Tau makes no sense with Stafford still starting. Simmons is a tweener, I’d b fine with him, but IMO Brown is the pick. Makes most sense.
Yeah I’m torn on believing all the concern about the medicals and thinking teams are throwing bullshit out.
What have you seen/heard? I've seen nothing but positive on his medicals.
Bob McGinn’s draft series where he talks to scouts/executives. Can’t really link it because it’s on Athletic, but I think when they asked them to rate how concerned they were about his medicals/injury history the consensus average was a 7 out of 10.

BOLD PREDICTION : THE LIONS will fuck it up as usual
Because we have the 27 million dollar a year bum at QB nobody believes were taking a QB at 3 , as I have stated , add the fact nobody can truly see TUA for themselves and Hebert for sure not worth the trade up, so were stuck at 3, or the Giants at 4 , so were stuck at 3 and take Okudah like some idiots rather than being stuck at 3 and taking Simmons or Brown
The Seahawks will trade down and out of the first round
The 49ers trade down at least once from either 13 or 31 as they do not have a 2nd , 3rd or 4th round pick

So it doesn’t matter what we do because you hate Stafford. Got it.
