All the great Defensive players in this draft and Quinhew selects a fucking TE at pick 8. He better be HOF and as good as Jason Witten. THe rest of the league is laughing their ass off.
Quinhew?
Is this a lame attempt to link two guys that have nothing to do with each other?
If so, you more fucking stupid than drafting a TE in the top ten.
Bonus fact: Hockenson is first top ten TE since Ebron. and Ebron was picked by a different G.M. and head coach but great for ignoring that fact. LOL .proves my point that people are so caught up in mistakes made by people not even in the picture anymore they are blinded. Yeah, I would have liked a couple other players instead but I can totally understand the pick. We have nothing to say about it so getting our panties in a bunch is stupid. Grow the fuck up people. If you can’t handle management picking someone other than who you wanted than you’re fools. LOL.

There’s a reason Sweat is falling. I’m surprised the off-field stuff doesn’t get talked about more. And I never found him as impressive as his combine numbers.

They both made the same mistake that is why I linked their names. You don't take TEs in the top ten, dumbass. Fuck you Golden.

I liked Oliver a lot, didn’t think he’d be on board at 8, thought even if he was they’d pass. Though likely in a trade down. Didn’t see him as a fit for what Patricia wants, right or wrong.

So Stafford now has his third 1st round TE. That has to be a first for one NFL quarterback. And I'm sure when Hockenson busts the Stafford fanboys will still say they never tried to put players around Stafford.
Hock is a good player but I will NEVER get the love for him at this spot, in fact in round 1....
I feel the pain, many Vikings fans wanted him in the first round too and I'm like, with all our Oline problems? I would have rage quit had we taken a TE in round 1. I don't know the Lions situation but yall don't seem too excited about the pick either.

If Hock is a pro bowler in 2 years this will be a lot easier to swallow. But after Pettigrew and Ebron, I am not to optimistic.
Steelers gave Denver a second and a third next year. Have to think they may have offered Lions something similar. Ugh.
That's the most frustrating thing to me. I know last year I felt the same way but was willing to accept that there weren't any opportunities to trade down so was okay with the pick. This year it seems pretty obvious they could have traded down if they wanted. I haven't been this upset with a Lions first round since the Ebron draft.

I think Bevel had a big say about Hock. He loves his 2 TE formations to run the football. But with so much defensive talent, being in the top ten. UUGGGHHH!
