You guys to dont have to buy it, I'm just saying, between everything I've ever seen from this kid, I'm starting to question if he's a bust...apparently you guys dont have the same concerns I do. Getting some Charles Rogers vibes...
Stay tuned...
I think there’s definitely some red flags. Just not sure this specific thing was anything. Especially when Campbell was praising his improvements in route running.
that's why I didn't say just this, I said all of it, from draft to all of it...this was just the latest...

Given all this you have to wonder if Jamo can appeal the suspension and at least get a couple games knocked off of it. Although admittedly I've always been unclear on whether the league suspended him or the team.
We here in Detroit have had a long history of... let’s just say “contentious” columnists. In particular, opinion pieces surrounding the Detroit Lions have ranged from reactionary to alarmist to downright stupid. Of course, this franchise has warranted it for decades and decades of losing, but with the team legitimately turning a corner now, the job of a Lions columnist is getting tougher. And that is playfully obvious to anyone seeing some of the local columns out there right now.
We here at Pride of Detroit don’t want Detroit’s illustrious history of fearmongers and pearl clutchers to fade away. And with no football activities on the horizon for the next six weeks, we could be in real danger of that.
So for all current and aspiring Detroit Lions columnists, the staff here at Pride of Detroit have compiled a list of 25 headlines you can use during this downtime of Lions football. WE GOTTA KEEP THE CLICK AND ENGAGEMENT FARM GOING!
Enjoy.

Youtube algorithms are on to me. The videos that keep popping in to my feed are just over-the-top hype. it's like we've already won the Superbowl and it's time to start carving busts for every player. Oh, and did you know? Every single player drafted after round 4 is a "hidden gem" just waiting to light the world on fire.

Ten bucks he won the bet. Probably won like a million, so they docked his ass...in a hotel on the road...another feather in why the NFL doesn't want Detroit to win. Still, it's a blue state now, so the NFL should LOVE the Lions...no more ref bullshit? Welp, smaller markets are always up against it and people are leaving the D in droves. This team is good, so take out that flashy fast new WR for a few, that'll show them. I know the team harps on this shit, but no warning and just a flat 6 game suspension reeks like baked dog shit on a July afternoon. They probably figure that's a 2-3 game swing so FUCK the NFL, we don't need JAMO for six games, even though we do and we will find a way to go 4-2 in that stretch. if so, the NFL can kiss my bulbous white ass. The end.

It is really stupid. I bet you a lot of guys in the league do this shit, the thing they don't do is show it on Instagram and open themselves up to criticism. I guess some people (media types) need to talk about something when there is nothing to talk about.

I see both sides of it. The video didn't show him with a 1/4 stick on dynamite in his hand. He was lighting a big cake on the ground. That mofo was like a 200 dollar firework. I don't see anything wrong with it.

reminds me of when some on here had their panties in a bunch over that picture of Stafford with a beer in his hand at the lake way back....

The only thing I would say is it was 1:15 in the morning, meaning he was probably pretty intoxicated. And why the hell is he using that tiny old school style lighter? Definitely not smart.

We can't draw anything from that except he is an asshole neighbor for blowing off large fireworks so late at night. To say he must be drunk is quite a leap! I agree he does not seem very bright for even posting this under the circumstances. The Lions and his agent need to work with him on his branding and social presence.
A leap??? C'mon now. I'd say the chances he was intoxicated are significantly greater than the chances he wasn't. Probably even the reason he posted it.

That is a ridiculous comment. You have no idea if he was drinking. He could be just a young immature kid making immature decisions with not enough guidance.

So I am up most nights due to work. And quite frequently Jamo goes live on IG in the middle of the night. A lot of times, it is pointless. I don't get it, but I am not a 22 year old millionaire. Most of the comments recently have been "don't be the next Ja Morant"
He doesn't usually talk in them either, but when he does, I didn't suspect that he was intoxicated. But I don't know for sure.
I think a lot of this is that he hasn't had a chance to get on the field and all these little setbacks are holding them back and it's a little frustrating for both the fans and him and the coaches I guess also his teammates. I think if he can get through the next six games and keep his head somewhat level and if he can work hard for the rest of the season I think a lot of this shit about Jamo will stop. I imagine mcdc and the coaching staffs will be keeping an eye on him and hopefully he can grind out. Kid has all the potential in the world and I hope he doesn't go off the rails by not being on the field
