Yes, assuming the Lions activate him. I have my doubts and wouldn't be surprised if they hold him out one more week.
nah...Carolina is a perfect game to get him a few reps...
Not sure if his hamstring issue in preseason was just limited to preseason. Might be. I don't think if he hasn't been around for the last 4 weeks that he could be that far up to speed. Might get a few reps for sure. MJJ doesn't deserve a roster spot anymore, so getting him out and weening Jamo in sounds like the right thing to do.
Although an interesting note, the Lions only had 52 on the active roster for week 4. Not sure what that means by leaving an open spot unless that somehow makes it easier to just take Jamo off the Suspended List to the active roster, versus having to cut or waive someone.

He needs practice time if Ben Johnson and Goff don't trust him he'll be a decoy and gadget player only.
Even if they just focus on the deep routes with him and play action, his speed should losen up coverage on the intermediate route as well. Him and Lief on the field, that's a lot more speed.

The optimist in me wants to believe this, but the realist in me remembers Brashad Perriman.
At this point, I'm kinda just writing him off as a bad pick...if we get anything out of him long term, great...if not, well, team has done ok without him, so I'm not too worried about it

I can see why they drafted him
He is a great blocker, and his speed downfield
I hope this is just a slump and he can get over it, because if he does he can be a special weapon the in play action game.
In the Lions defense, he didn't show he dropped a lot of passes at the college level.
I am hopeful, because his blocking is really good!

I think he did have some drops in college, but he had so many explosive plays you could live with it.
He needs time, he’s never really had any extended time of practice and game reps. Hopefully over the next few weeks he gets that and can be more of a weapon in the 2nd half. If not, it’s time to start worrying.
He needs to be upfield on his routes and in the seems like Raymond, but yeah he shoulda had that, ugly drop
Yeah I’m not crazy about the screens, not really his game. I know they’re just trying to get the ball in his hands and that play probably could have been a big one if Jones didn’t whiff on the block.
The more reps he gets should build his confidence. His blocking keeps him on the field.
Ben Johnson's play calling was quote interesting. Almost like he was working on certain plays and concepts versus trying to score. An example of that was the 3 screens in a row. I would almost speculate Johnson was holding Jamo back back from running too much down field in play action and not showing that quite just yet until they have to, and establishing him as a run blocker and justifying him on the field with Montgomery.
Consistent games. He will come around. He's been out of commission for a while. Now it's real and it will take a few to get on track. Once GameDay becomes more of a routine like maybe next week or the week after, when he understands it's time to shine. Well...I guess we will see. Hope I'm not wrong
