National people not understanding why Campbell was so aggressive going for 2. They’re virtually locked into 3 spot. Slim shot at 2, razor thin shot at 1. So went for the game there instead of a coin toss. No issue with it; especially since they ran 2 plays that should have ended with the conversion.
Skipper didn't report though, he was not on the end of the line, which was why Sewell and Decker went to the official. Official nodded at DEcker and ran off. Honestly, this is one of those situations were they wanted Dallas to win imo. A flag was thrown 30 secs after that conversion. It is what it is, nothing new to Lions fans. We get it.

Tough loss and an obvious screw job by the officials. And they double down and lie about it in a statement. Not much more I can say about it without sounding like sour grapes.
Didn’t like all the Campbell calls on 4th down but some worked and some didn’t. So it washes out in the end. The team played well and terrible all at the same time.
I just think the loss makes the Lions-Vikings game worthless and I wanted to see the team continue moving along into the playoffs. But Campbell is a madman and might still goes all out in a meaningless game to get that 12th win. Vikings lose tomorrow and it might be meaningless to them as well.
Just wish the NFL would hold these guys more accountable than just saying well if you don’t do well, you can’t ref a championship game some bs. This ref crew is one of the worst and they have made game changing calls incorrectly.

it looks to me like Skipper confused everyone by running towards the officials.
WTF was he even doing?
I think it's pretty clear-cut. The strategy was to deliberately confuse the defense by having Skip approach the officials but not actually report.
And it completely backfired because they wound up confusing the officials in the process.
Just a case of Campbell trying to get "cute." This whole gimmicky "cute" act is starting to wear on me. The pass to Sewell last year was fun exactly once. So knock it off already, chuckleheads. Just line up and play some football and spare us the David Copperfield tricks and carnival sideshow antics.
My guess is the refs and the NFL in general are sick of it and are trying to send a message. Good for them. Campbell rode in on his clown car and earned this L.

and this is a suck a dick, bitch statement...why am i not surprised our resident bitch rusty is offering it up?...yeah, lions play played within the rules, and won within the rules...but the nfl doesn't like it, so they change the rules....so sure, cheat a team for being innovative...its weird to me...nfl want high scoring offensive games, until the smaller market team looks to win....but whatever...continue awarding free pass interference calls and penalize real plays...that looks great to the fan base
